Time To Think About Canton Again

Cristy and I rented a booth twice in 2009 at a flea market called First Monday in Canton. It's two hours from home and a great place to sell our wonderful vintage collection. We are thinking about doing it again soon. Our trips are always an adventure, we make great memories and we laugh our butts off. But we also can't forget that it rained both times we went and the last trip was very very cold. Add to that, that it's hard for two women to load and unload a huge trailer and truck, put up a tent and back the trailer into a very narrow hotel space at midnight. And we sure haven't forgotten the shack we rented near the alligator farm, where we slept with one eye open all night! We also can't easily forget staving off frost bite by sitting near a tiny heater in the corner of our booth while watching White Christmas over and over (it was the only movie I had downloaded on my laptop). But somehow, the good memories out weigh the "uncomfortable" ones, like how much mulah we made, how many fun people we met and how inspired we felt after receiving so many compliments about how cool our stuff was. So in our minds, the good out weigh the bad. Writing about it now makes me want to call and rent the booth immediately! We're strong, we're mentally tough, we need a new adventure, we have some good stuff to sell and the most important factor.....we could use the mulah!
